Life taught Erika Kishler, MBA '16, that there may never be a 'perfect' time to pursue a graduate degree. "I earned my undergraduate degree in 2005, and the right time to enroll in graduate courses never seemed to present itself," she noted. "Soon after I took the plunge, transferred my credits and enrolled in the Graduate Business Degree Preparatory Program for my MBA, I suffered a near-fatal pulmonary embolism. I sat in ICU with IVs in both arms and my Principles of Ecnonomics textbook propped up in front of me. My mentor, Dr. Kenneth Granberry, worked with me and I managed to complete my assignments and finish the course. He unwittingly set the tone for the ways TESU would fit into my life.
