"The Accelerated 2nd Degree BSN Program elements that appealed to me the most were the time factor and costs," said Joseph Barton, a 2017 graduate of the program. "Most other accelerated nursing programs were two to four months longer and cost significantly more. I was also able to speak to a graduate of the program and they told me that, from a clinical perspective, they felt very prepared for their nursing career." It seems that Barton emerged from the program equally prepared. He recently passed the National Council for Licensure Exam for RNs (NCLEX-RN) and said that he hopes to practice pediatric nursing.
