President Emeritus George A. Pruitt Publishes New Book
Congratulations to Dr. George A. Pruitt on the publication of his new book: From Protest to President: A Social Justice Journey Through the Emergence of Adult Education and the Birth of Distance Learning.
The publication describes his inspirational odyssey as a young, Black activist and coming of age in Mississippi and Chicago during the tumultuous '60s and '70s, culminating in his notable 35-year presidency at the University.
