Reynolds’ employer, the State of New Jersey, formed a strategic partnership with the University in 2005 with the objective of developing a stronger workforce and increasing employee retention. Length of time to degree completion: Two years. "I have always been an overachiever and I wanted to finish my Master of Science in Human Resources Management (MSHRM) degree within two years just like I did my bachelor's. I'm glad I was able to accomplish my goal and complete my personal deadline.”

Personal story: "I love education, learning and writing. My mother always told to me, 'You were born smart,' and I never understood the meaning. Now that I have completed my education, I know exactly what she meant. She meant that I am a learner and a teacher at the same time. I am constantly seeking to further my education, currently I'm looking into a doctoral program; that's the learning portion of my life. The teaching portion I instill in my son, Adrian, and my nieces and nephew. I always tell them, 'Do your best and the rest will follow.' I am currently applying this to my own life, I'm doing my best and the rest is following."

Degree earned: Master of Science in Human Resources Management

The "ROI" according to Reynolds: "The State of New Jersey provided me with the opportunity to finance my degree. I was able to fund some of my education through its tuition reimbursement program, and I couldn't be more grateful. At the time, being a single mother, that assistance and the scholarship support I received from the University gave me the tools I needed to earn my degree and further my career."
