"Straight out of high school I went into the U.S. Marine Corps. Right before I left for boot camp, I got to see both my mom (Cassandra Juba, BA '11) and my grandmother (Martha Noel-Stier, BSBA '11) graduate from Thomas Edison State University," said Gabrielle Juba Frost, BSBA '17 and MBA '18. "It was while I was serving that I decided I wanted to earn my bachelor's degree. I was already familiar with the University from my family. The online model and the fact that TESU is military friendly were big factors for me. If I ever got deployed, I could continue my education, pause it if I had to - whatever I needed - I knew the University would be there for me. I began taking courses in accounting, and when my military service was completed, I decided to push to complete my MBA and continued on the accounting track.
