Peter M. Brenner III, BS '18

"I formulated my own college plan involving military enlistment and veteran's benefits to fund my degree. At the age of 17, I signed an enlistment contract," said Peter Brenner III, BS degree in Electronics Systems Engineering Technology '18. "Several months later, I left for U.S. Air Force basic training and a two-year assignment to Germany. The next several years brought discharge from active duty, earning my associate degree, marriage, three children and a gradual career progression in the electronics field, while I enhanced my resume with industry certifications and technical licensure. Then, I learned of the program at TESU. I enrolled and was offered scholarship funding based upon my military career, work experience and GPA. In March 2018, I was awarded my long-awaited bachelor's degree. While more than 30 years have passed since my first college class, the journey was worth it.
