Like many adult learners, Fred Hunter, MSM '16, had to put his dream of earning a college degree on hold. "I have worked in healthcare management for more than 15 years," said Hunter, an operations manager for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. "Going back to school was always a goal I postponed due to family obligations and business travel. Thomas Edison State University's online courses allowed me to complete my graduate course work on business trips, vacations and even family gatherings — all without having to commute in heavy traffic to class. Unlike most colleges and universities, our courses are available throughout the year with new undergraduate terms starting every month.

Through prior learning assessment (PLA), you may be able to earn credit for college-level knowledge you already possess. Take the online PLA Self-Assessment to find out if you're a candidate for PLA.
