Carl Hickman After spending 6-12 years in U.S. Navy I felt it was important to continue my education. TESU had a good rapport with both veteran an active duty service members. I enrolled in 1996 and began my journey for my bachelor’s degree. Nuclear industry, IT, all the while continuing my degree. I’m proud of myself for finishing. There were several times when I felt I wouldn’t get it done. It took me awhile, but I got it done. BSAST.NEET ’17. It went beyond needing my degree for my job to being a commitment. The first time people hear that you have a nuclear energy engineering technology degree, they go, Wow! One of the things that really impressed me was the amount of credits I earned for the courses I took while I was in the service. It was a burden off my shoulders and gave me a leg up.
