Breaking New Ground

Construction to begin on new 34,000-square-foot Nursing Education Center.

For a College already distinguished for its groundbreaking ways, June was an especially good month.

The pioneer in the use of educational technologies for adult learners ceremoniously broke ground on its new 34,000-square-foot Nursing Education Center on June 19. Among those wielding shovels at the event was New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

In breaking ground for the new building, the College is transforming one of downtown Trenton's key gateway locations from an object of blight to an object of urban and economic renewal.
