Carl Hickman, BS '17

"After spending six and a half years in the U.S. Navy, I felt it was important to continue my education. TESU had a good rapport with both veteran and active duty service members. I enrolled in 1996 and began my journey for my bachelor's degree. One of the things that really impressed me was the amount of credits that transferred to TESU for the courses I took while I was still in the Navy. The leg up it gave me was a burden off my shoulders, and I am proud to be finishing. With the support of my loving wife and family, I was able to get it done. Somewhere along the way, it went beyond needing a degree for my job, to being a commitment," noted Hickman, who is a BS in Nuclear Energy Engineering Technology program graduate.
