Copes with Gulf Oil Spill
For student Michelle Rebstock, the Gulf of Mexico oil spill is hitting close to home
Like many coastal Louisianans, Michelle Rebstock is accustomed to natural disasters that normally take the form of raging tropical storms.
Recently, however, her family has been faced with a more silent threat. Their hometown rests on tributaries that are now imperiled by the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. "There's no doubt that the oil spill is a horrific event," said Rebstock.
