"For me, my education was about leading the way and showing the young people in my family that a moment of pain is worth a lifetime of glory. I have failed nearly as much as I have succeeded; but of all my personal achievements, the two that I am most proud of is being a United States Army soldier, and a Thomas Edison State master's program graduate. My hope is to pass along my positive experiences to everyone I can in order to encourage personal achievement and a life of substance and significance." (Photo: Catherine "Cie" Stroud)
