TESU Alums Make EBONY Magazine's Power 100 List
Wooden and Vincent Honored as 'Heroes of the Black Community' by Magazine
Two Thomas Edison State alums have made EBONY magazine's 2015 "Power 100" list.
Troy Vincent BA '07, and Ernest Wooden Jr. BSBA '06 and MSM '07, are being recognized by the publication as the best and brightest among the African American community.
Wooden's distinction as a senior hospitality industry executive and the first African-American CEO of the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board captured the attention of the EBONY team.
Troy Vincent's success as a highly awarded NFL player and his recent installation as the executive vice president of Football Operations for the NFL earned his place on the list.
According to the publication, the annual list honors those who lead, inspire and demonstrate through their individual talents, the very best in Black America. Vincent and Wooden shared the Power 100 distinction with such luminaries as journalist Lester Holt, performing artist John Legend and nuclear physicist Njema Frazier.
