Careese Charles-Boughter '14, is a leading petty officer with the U.S. Navy and a radiation health technician and instructor. The self-described 'sailor-supervisor-mom-wife-student' said she chose Thomas Edison State College because it fit with her busy lifestyle. "TESC was perfect for me because the staff and mentors worked with my schedule," she explained. Pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Applied Science and Technology degree in Health Services Technology for 18 years total, Boughter used online courses to complete her degree requirements with the College in just two years.
